If you want to escape God’s wrath against sexual immorality (porn keeps you out of the kingdom of God), change your mind about your sin.

There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”

Luke 13:1-5

Are you in bondage to pornography because you believe other men are deserving of God’s wrath more than you are? Do you return to your sexual immorality day after day because you believe you

Looking at porn makes you an adulterer, a liar, and more. One sin leads to another. But the opposite is also true. Quit porn and you can’t help but quit other sins as well. Bonus, right?

Also I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem:
They commit adultery and walk in lies;
They also strengthen the hands of evildoers,
So that no one turns back from his wickedness.
All of them are like Sodom to Me,
And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

Jeremiah 23:14

When you look at porn you break three of the 10 Commandments. You commit adultery. You covet your neighbor’s wife. And you lie. That’s the nature of sexual sin—it never acts alone. If you watch pornography habitually, you are guilty of plenty of other sins as well. One sin can’t help but lead to another.

This was true in Jeremiah’s day. The prophets of Jerusalem committed adultery and walked in lies. They covered their sexual sin by lying about it. They either lied by commission, by telling their wives falsehoods about where they were or who they were with, for example. Or they lied by omission, by failing to confess their sins, a

The Bible warns that you can fall away in unbelief and become severed from your saving union with God through Christ. Heed the warnings. Don’t believe the lie.

“Then the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die.'”
Genesis 3:4

If you are a Christian man struggling to conquer your habitual sin of watching pornography, your problem may be that you believe the same lie that Satan told Eve in the Garden of Eden. The lie that Eve believed. The lie that she and Adam acted upon. The lie that brought death—physical and spiritual—upon them and all mankind.

Satan whispers this same lie to you whenever you are tempted to look at pornography or masturbate. You know that these sins are wrong, but Satan tells you otherwise.

  • God says if you are sexually immoral, you will be cast into hell (Matthew 5:27-30). Satan says, “you will not surely die.”
  • God says if you are sexually immoral, you will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Satan says, “you will not surely die.”
  • God says you must abstain from sexual immorality or fa

Some professing Christians think they can call Jesus Lord, practice sexual sin, and still inherit the kingdom of God. They are deceived. Are you?

Sexually Immoral Christians Are Deceived | 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

If you claim to be a Christian but engage in habitual sexual immorality, you are deceived. If you profess Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, but continue to masturbate to pornography, you are deceived. This might be the primary reason that you are failing to get victory over your sexual immorality. You are deluded about how you can be both a Christian and a habitual fornicator at the same time.

So, what are you deceived about? The Bible tells you. In The First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians, in the sixth chapter, Paul asks the church at Corinth a simple but searching question:

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were
